but balancing that with nourishing outward connections is important.
So, I decided to embark on a bit of a collection spree.
You've probably heard about all the benefits that come with hugs, as I have on many occasions of late {the teachers come when the student is ready, kinda thing}.
The biggest benefit is that,
You can't give a hug without receiving one in return.
Two heart centres open and meet for a moment {or a long time}.
It's an embrace {and exchange} that says,
I accept you, you belong, someone cares and you are loved!
Positive chemical responses are released in the body and you feel good.
Two souls connect.
And yet some may go for days without this human interaction.
When was your last hug?
So today I challenge you to practice this...
Collect at least one hug today
& watch the positive ripple effect you create as you embrace another!
Why not try for 4!
{I heard that is the daily minimum requirement}
Let me know what happens for you when you do.
Big Pocket Yogini Virtual hugs coming your way,
Tx
PS: Give yourself a hug - take your arms out wide at shoulder height and then swing them back towards you, wrapping them tight around you. Then do it again with the opposite arm on top ;)
